Course Description

This unit of competency specifies the outcomes required to enhance project outcomes through the application of the quality policy by contributing to quality planning, applying quality policies and procedures, and contributing to continuous improvement within projects.

2.1 Under delegated authority work is undertaken to implement quality assurance within the project in accordance with agreed quality standards and guidelines

2.2 Records and documentation are maintained in accordance with set procedures to facilitate quality control and to provide an audit trail

2.3 Results of project activities and product performance are documented and evaluated to determine compliance with agreed quality standard

2.4 Shortfalls in quality outcomes are reported to others to enable appropriate action to be initiated

3.1 Assistance is provided in the on-going review of project outcomes to determine the effectiveness of quality management activities
