Course Description

This unit covers the use of computer application relevant to
engineering support work functions. It encompasses applying
user preferences, using application menus and tools, entering
and retrieve information, working with groups and transferring
and printing files.

2.18.1.2 Workplace procedures for dealing with accidents, fires and emergencies are followed according to work procedures and scope of responsibility and competencies

Details of Learning Activities

This unit shall be demonstrated using MATLAB  and AUTOCAD computational software packages which covers applications in Electrical and Electronics engineering. This unit aims to covers the fundamentals of computer applications and  also enhance students engineering skills using these software package


Teaching Schedule

This course runs in association with ISYS-5662C (Use Engineering Applications Software).  All the teaching elements are taught with ISYS-5662C  under the same cluster.
