Course Description

This unit covers the necessary skills and knowledge to use CAD to produce multi-view, multi-scale detail and assembly drawings to AS 1100, including the creation and use of library parts and the use of third party software.

Pre-requisite Courses and Assumed Knowledge and Capabilities

MEM30001A - Use computer aided drafting systems to produce basic engineering drawings
EDX060B – Prepare basic mechanical and structural steel drawings to AS 1100
