Course Description
This unit is concerned with the project evaluation process.
It assumes that planning for the evaluation has been undertaken in the planning process and so focuses on conducting the evaluation.

Jul 12th: Lecture - Intervention of the Health message. Methodologies suitable for evaluation of intervention. Assessment discussed in detail
Jul 19th: Lecture - Meeting to discuss the assessment. Group work commences
Aug 2nd: Group work on project
Aug 19th: Evaluation plan due Task 1
Aug 19th - Oct 13th: Students to work on their health promotion activities in the Special needs context and the corresponding written report on the evaluation methods. Appointment can be sort via email with the facilitator to review draft document
Oct 10th: Oral Presentations (Summative assessment) student group reporting on evaluation of health promotion project.
Oct 19th: Final date of submission of project report

Late work that is submitted without an application for an extension (see below) will not be corrected.
• APPLICATION FOR EXTENSION OF TIME FOR SUBMISSION OF ASSESSABLE WORK - A student may apply for an extension of up to 7 days from the original due date. They must lodge the application form (available www1.rmit.edu.au/students/assessment/extension) at least 24 hours before the due date. The application is lodged with the School Admin Office on Level 3 of Dental Hospital. Students requiring longer extensions must apply for SPECIAL CONSIDERATION.
• For missed assessments such as exams and presentations- you (& your doctor if you are sick) must fill out a special consideration form. This form must be lodged online with supporting evidence prior to, or within, 48 hours of the scheduled time of assessment www1.rmit.edu.au/students/specialconsideration Students may be given the opportunity to resubmit the assignment if this is requested by the teacher and approved by the co-ordinator. Students are required to achieve a Pass grade in both tasks to achieve Competence for this course
