2020 Enrolment Program Structure

To graduate you must complete the following:

  Year One of the Program
 
AND  Year Two of the Program
 

The program comprises of sixteen (16) courses 12 Credit Points each. You will complete four (4) courses each semester for four semesters.

 

Sequence: The Associate Degree in  Business is delivered in a specific order (sequence), to maximise the learning outcomes for students.

 

It is important that you enrol in the correct courses each semester in the required sequence, as listed below.

 

Timetabling: As of Semester 2 2019, Timetable Groups have been introduced. You will need to select the same group for all your timetable activities in your current semester.

 

Calendar: The Associate Degree in Business follows the Higher Education Calendar. 

 

Capstone Course: Capstone courses should be taken in your final semester of study and credit applications will not be accepted for these courses.

 

The capstone course for this program is BUSM4385 International Business.

Year Two of the Program

Year Two

If you are a continuing student, please enrol into three (3) core courses and one (1) university elective as listed under Semester One.

Then enrol into the remaining four (4) core courses listed under Semester Two.

 

Capstone Course: BUSM4385 International Business is the Capstone course for the Associate Degree in Business and should be completed in your final semester.

No Credit applications will be accepted for this course.

Enrolment Load

The maximum standard enrolment load per semester is 48 credit points. 

 

Overloading

You will only be permitted to overload by a maximum of 12 credit points in the final semester of your program.

 

Credit and Pathways

If you have completed an RMIT College of Business Vocational Education program and you are continuing your studies into an RMIT College of Business Higher Education program, you will be eligible to receive advanced standing for approved courses. Please refer to the College of Business Advanced Standing webpage for more information.
