Please make sure that you select only City campus offerings for all Year 1 courses.

ONPS2334 Scientific Skills and Communication and MATH2123 Mathematics and Statistics are to be taken in RMIT Semester 1.

CHEM1239 Chemistry for Life Sciences is to be taken in RMIT Semester 2, along with BIOL2256 Introduction to Microbiology, Immunology and Genetics.

In 2020, students should take Year 2 course BIOL2262 Genetics and Molecular Biology in Semester 2 of Year 1, and complete the Year 1 University Elective option in Year 2.

RMIT Semester 1 - students should enrol in BIOL1177, BIOL2043, one University Elective and one Science Elective choice from the list of Year 3 courses.

RMIT Semester 2 - in order for students to meet the prerequisites for future courses, Year 2 courses BIOL2319, BIOL1181 & BIOL2416 should be completed in RMIT Semester 2. 

BIOL2262 is suggested as the 4th course for Semester 2 as this will help with 3rd and 4th year course enrolments later in the program.

It is strongly recommended that students defer enrolling in Year 2 course BIOL2044 until their 4th Year and only undertake 4 courses in RMIT Semester 2, 2020.
