To complete the requirements for the Certificate IV in Education Support, you will be required to successfully complete 12 Core Units and 5 Elective units.

Classes are timetabled over 3 days plus 1 day of compulsory workplacement and 1 day of unsupervised directed study time. Your workplacement and unsupervised directed study are an integral part of your learning and assessment for the program. Classes are interactive and give you many opportunities to discuss, share ideas and practice new skills. You will participate in class learning activities such as analysing case studies and scenarios, role plays, group and pair work, online research and reading articles. The work and tasks you complete during the program will focus on the teaching and learning of young people. Some of the units may be clustered as part of your learning and assessment.

Your assessments will be on-going throughout the program.
