2017 Enrolment Program Structure

To graduate you must complete the following:

  Year One of Program
 

1 core course totalling 12 credit points.

Part-time students

In addition to this core course, 7 courses must be completed from one of four languages currently offered (Chinese, French, Japanese and Spanish) from beginners to advanced language and culture electives A and B. You must successfully complete an advanced language and culture elective A or B in your chosen language.

If you have any prior knowledge of the chosen language you want to study, you must contact the respective language coordinator to arrange a placement test.

Full-time students

In addition to this core course, two 36 credit point courses must be completed from one of two languages currently offered (Chinese and Japanese), e.g. Chinese 1 (Intensive) and Chinese 2 (Intensive) or Japanese 1 (Intensive) and Japanese 2 (Intensive) and an advanced language and culture elective A or B.
