External accreditation and industry links

The Master of Strategic Procurement is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS). This program is also recognised by the Australasian Procurement and Construction Council Inc (APCC).


Students enrolled in the program are eligible for student membership of CIPS. By selecting appropriate courses, graduates of the program may be eligible for full membership of CIPS.

For graduates to be eligible for full CIPS membership the following conditions must be met: 

  • All units must be successfully passed – No credit or compensations
  • The courses BUSM3878 Practice-based Logistics Research Project 1 and BUSM3882 Practice-based Logistics Research Project 2 must be conducted in a procurement and supply chain related area.

 

PLEASE NOTE as you are enrolled in the MC195EXE you will be given credit exemptions for the following four (4) courses which you will not be required to complete:

  • BUSM1162 Management 1 - Managing People
  • BUSM3886 Business and Government in the Global Context
  • ISYS1028 Global Business and Social Technology: A Case Study Approach
