2024 Enrolment Program Structure

To graduate you must complete the following: All courses listed may not be available each semester:

AND   Please note: If you choose to enrol in one of the Business Globalisation courses with a total of 24 credit points, you do not have to complete an elective from the approved Information Management elective list below.
 

The Master of Information Management degree requires the completion of 192 credit points (CP) comprising of the following:

  • 4 Business Enabling courses (48 CP) Do not enrol in these courses as part of this program plan
  • 8 Compulsory courses (96 CP)
  • 1 Capstone course (12 CP)
  • 1 Business Research Design course (12 CP)
  • 2 Elective courses (from the approved Information Management elective list OR up to 1 University Postgraduate Elective = 24 CP) OR 1 x Business Globalisation course (24 CP)

IMPORTANT NOTE: This program will be formally discontinued at the end of 2023.

Delivery Modes

Some courses in this program are offered in both face-to-face and online modes. International Students can only study online if the online courses make up 25 per cent of the total program, as stipulated in your visa conditions. Those who wish to undertake courses through online mode are requested to select the class number denoted by ONL (online study mode).

 

Capstone Courses

Capstone Courses are compulsory courses designed to consolidate the learning undertaken throughout the program and should be taken in your final semester of study.  Applications for credit transfer or recognition of prior learning will not be accepted for Capstone courses.

Enrolment Load

The maximum standard enrolment load per semester is 48 credit points.

 

Overloading

You will only be permitted to overload by a maximum of 12 credit points in the final semester of your program, upon approval from the College.
