The Master of Information Management degree requires the completion of 192 credit points (CP) comprising of the following:

  • 4 Business Enabling courses (48 CP) 
  • 8 compulsory courses (96 CP)
  • 1 Capstone course (12 CP)
  • 1 Business Research Design course (12 CP)
  • 2 Elective courses (from the approved Information Management elective list OR up to 1 University Postgraduate Elective = 24 CP) OR 1 x Business Globalisation course (24 CP)

Delivery Modes

Some courses in this program are offered both face-to-face and online. International Students can only study online if the online courses make up 25 per cent of your total program as stipulated in your visa conditions.

Those who wish to undertake courses through online mode are requested to select the class number denoted by (ONL).

Capstone Courses are compulsory courses designed to consolidate the learning undertaken throughout the program and should generally be taken in your final year/semester of study.  Applications for credit transfer or recognition of prior learning will not be accepted for these courses.

The maximum standard enrolment load per semester is 48 credit points.

 

Overloading

You will only be permitted to overload by a maximum of 12 credit points in the final semester of your program
