2017 Enrolment Program Structure

To graduate you must complete the following:

  Students admitted to this program plan will be exempted from the Four (4) Business Enabling Courses on the basis of prior studies as detailed in the Articulation and Pathways section of the program guide:

The Master of Commerce consists of 16 courses of which 4 courses (Business Enabling Courses) will be given credit for.

You will be required to complete the following:

  • One compulsory specialisation (block of four prescribed courses in a business discipline) 
  • Compulsory BUSM4448 Business Research Design course
  • Either a second specialisation (block of four prescribed courses in a business discipline) or any 4 optional courses* from any course listed other than the core course 
  • 3 optional courses*


*Optional courses may be chosen from the individual courses comprising the specialisations offered.
*Students can also select an international study program (study tour) offered by the College of Business.
