To graduate you must complete the following:

  • All compulsory core course requirements of the program including specialist electives to a total of 96 credit points.
  • Ensure that all applications for Credit Transfer and Recognition of Prior Learning have been submitted prior to the relevant census dates.

  • Some research projects may be based at Bundoora campus this year. Please contact your Program Manager for more details.

Year One of Program

SEMESTER 1 2017:

Newly commencing full-time students in Semester 1 2017:

Select and complete the following two core courses: CIVE1226 and CIVE1229 and
Select and complete two course from the following electives: CIVE1228 or CIVE1223

Please note: CIVE1229 is a prerequisite to CIVE1230.

If you are a part-time student, please discuss your course selections with the Program Director, Dr. Saman De Silva prior to enrolling in courses.

Continuing full-time students who have commenced the program in Semester 2 2016:

Select and complete the following two core courses: CIVE1226 and CIVE1230 and
Select and complete one course from the following electives: CIVE1228, CIVE1223

Please note: In order to enrol in CIVE1230, you should have successfully completed CIVE1229.

If you are a part-time student, please discuss your course selections with the Program Director, Dr. Saman De Silva prior to enrolling in courses.

 

SEMESTER 2 2017:

Newly commencing full-time students in Semester 2 2017:

Complete the following two core courses: CIVE1222 and CIVE1229 and
Select and complete two courses from the following electives: CIVE1224, CIVE1225, OENG1093 (not listed in the program structure)

Please note: CIVE1229 is a prerequisite to CIVE1230.

NB - CIVE1230, ‘Research Project’ is based in the City campus. However, if the research project includes a laboratory component, Civil Engineering laboratories in the Bundoora East campus may be used from Semester 2, 2016 onwards. Please consult with your Course Coordinator for more information.
