Course Description
This course describes the knowledge and skills required to prepare a patient for and to perform an EEG and to provide an interim report to assist the final EEG report. Work will be performed within a prescribed range of functions involving routine and non-routine methods and procedures, which require the exercise of some discretion and judgement. EEG’s are commonly conducted in hospitals and neurologists’ rooms. All activities are carried out in accordance with organisational policies, procedures and infection control guidelines.
