Program Learning Outcomes Statement
In the Bachelor of Commerce you will combine business knowledge from a range of discipline areas with skills in problem solving, communication and reflective practice to work effectively in business settings. On successful completion of this program you will be equipped to:
Discipline knowledge:
Combine the core knowledge gained from your studies in accounting; business computing, macroeconomics, microeconomics, marketing; management; business statistics; and commercial law to support life-long learning in your chosen field of study.
Socially, ethically and environmentally responsive practice:
Frame judgments & practice in professional, legal, ethical and environmental contexts.
International perspective:
Apply business skills and knowledge to identify, interpret, and respond to culture and business related challenges in a globalised business context.
Information management/literacy:
Identify, analyse and evaluate the relevance and usefulness of business-related concepts, technical tools and language, from a variety of sources, to support business decisions.
Communication skills:
Communicate business related data and information using appropriate media to support decision making, and to build and maintain productive relationships.
Problem diagnosis and resolution:
Critically evaluate issues in professional settings to develop strategies and solutions that contribute to business outcomes.
