Purpose of the Program

The Bachelor of Business (International Business) program provides you with technical and critical knowledge and skills in international business to apply in diverse global contexts. A broad-based curriculum covers international human resource management, global marketing and cross-culture management, with focus in professional training in contemporary international business.

Over the duration of this program you will participate in a variety of learning experiences which are designed to support you in developing skills as an International Business graduate. Learning and teaching approaches for this program may include lectures and tutorials, problem-based learning, case studies, work-integrated learning, assignments, projects and examinations.

The final year of the program includes the capstone course BUSM3309 Strategic Management which will provide you the opportunity to critically reflect on and consolidate your theoretical and practical learning. 

The program will prepare you to work as a professional in a wide range of industries, government and non-government organisations that require high level international skills, such as trading, business, finance, manufacturing, logistics, and trade promotion sectors.

Articulation and pathways

Entrance requirements

Academic Requirements:

For the RMIT Vietnam program you will have to have received the Bang Tot Nghiep Pho Thong Trung Hoc (Upper Secondary School Graduation Certificate) with a Minimum Grade of 7.0 to enter the program.

For entry via the Diploma of Commerce RMIT Vietnam, you must have successfully completed all of the requirements of this Diploma to be given entry to the program. Some students may enter the program with credit granted on the basis of studies already completed at an equivalent level. This cohort of students typically enters the program in the second year

Student expenses and charges in addition to fees

Once you are enrolled as a student in this program you will need to allow for expenses other than university tuition fees.  Additional expenses may relate to the purchase of lecture notes, textbooks, stationery, consumables such as printer paper, fees levied by commercial internet service providers for internet access outside of the university campus, and other relevant costs.
