Purpose of the Program

Students studying this qualifications will learn about strata schemes and communities; the functions and duties of a manager including the administration and facilitation of meetings, handling strata funds and reporting on financial activities, administering insurance, implementing contracts of appointment and the ability to read plans.

Articulation and pathways

The completion of the Certificate IV in Strata Community Management allows the participant to apply for the Level 2 – Certified Strata Community Manager (CSCM). Currently there are no direct pathways to other qualifications.

Entrance requirements

Ideally students will need to be working in the industry with over 12 months experience as assessment tasks are focused on work based projects, or industry operations and performance evidence

External accreditation and industry links

The certificate is an industry accredited program for professionals working in strata management or professionals in the property sector. On successful  completion of the program, applicants   are   issued   with   certificates   with their accreditation  level  and  official  accreditation  logos   for use  in electronic and hard copy stationery.

Student expenses and charges in addition to fees

Once you are enrolled as a student in this program you will need to allow for expenses other than university tuition fees.  Additional expenses may relate to the purchase of lecture notes, textbooks, stationery, consumables such as printer paper, fees levied by commercial internet service providers for internet access outside of the university campus, and other relevant costs.
