External accreditation and industry links

This program is specifically designed for individuals in the construction industry. The program structure and selection of elective units tailored to Project Management were developed through consultation with industry representatives and RMIT educators.
Teachers maintain close connections with the construction industry through ongoing professional development activities, and many sessional staff continue to work or run their own businesses in the field. Matthew Sweeney, the Program Manager, actively engages with a wide network of industry professionals.
Teachers often invite guest speakers to enhance the learning experience. All learners participate in classes that help them connect theoretical concepts to practical applications in the workplace, which in many cases is their own. A key feature of this program is the mentoring and coaching provided by the facilitator to help learners make these connections.
