Purpose of the Program

The coursework programs in Geospatial Information are designed for professionals who already have an undergraduate qualification in a related (cognate) field (for example environmental science, geography, social science, biology, geology, engineering) and who need to build their skills in managing spatial data. Professionals also looking to make a career change into the geospatial industry can acquire necessary skills through doing one of these programs, as well as para-professionals looking to upgrade their qualifications.

The program aims to provide the opportunity for graduates from a wide range of disciplines related to, or having dealings with, geospatial data, to undergo specialist studies in one or several areas of geospatial data management at higher degree level.

Please note this GD054 Graduate Diploma in Geospatial Information is an EXIT point only from the Master of Applied Science (Geospatial Information) and you cannot directly enter this program.
