Approach to learning and assessment

Art in Public Space is conducted as a holistic study with students gaining capabilities through direct project work, integrating special areas of study.

Particular projects and opportunities are also developed as block activities. This includes an optional overseas project each year and an intensive program carried out each year in the month of March.

This program has a strong international focus, supported by projects undertaken both locally and overseas.

You will have 24-hour access to a dedicated studio space for your art practice. Program lecturers are leaders in their fields, and you will have access to on-site projects that are developed with government, community organisations and industry partners.

Combining both small group and individual practice and encouraging collaborative feedback, you will learn in a cohesive and supportive environment. Students are also able to participate in specialist seminars, classes and workshops.
