As a graduate of this program you will be able to:

Determine and apply the specialist knowledge and technical skills required to develop creative solutions to a range of complex problems that currently confront our built and natural environments
Critically analyse, synthesize and reflect on complex theories and recent developments in urban planning, policy and management, both local and international, to extend and challenge knowledge and your scholarly and professional practice
Use a wide range of research tools, methods and strategies to generate new knowledge and inform decision-making in urban planning and environment contexts
Communication and technical research skills to justify and interpret theoretical findings, and professional decisions to diverse audiences including policy makers and practitioners as well as non-professional audiences
