Peter Lawrance is one of Australia’s most experienced media people.

Peter has spent over 30 years in the media and advertising industry and has lectured to Advertising and Marketing students at RMIT’s School of Business for the last decade.
Peter teaches a number of subjects but specialises in media strategy and media planning and buying. He was the inaugural media strategy lecturer at The Masters of Advertising program for a number of years.

Peter was awarded the “Teaching Excellence” award in 2007 and has been awarded certificates for Excellence in Teaching from the PVC every year since inception

In 2012 Peter was awarded a Life Fellowship from the AIA for his contribution to educating advertising students

Peter spent the majority of his career with Australia’s leading advertising agencies: Clemenger BBDO and George Patterson Bates holding Directorships at both and was Media Director of Clemenger Harvie and George Patterson Melbourne. He also worked at Clemenger Perth and Sydney.

In addition to his corporate activities Peter spent 10 years on Melbourne radio as a media and TV commentator; and achieved the highest listenship on 3AK to his media segment.
