Recognition of prior learning (RPL) in VET: RPL record of assessment (PDF 28kb 3p)
This form is to be completed by the RPL assessor during and on completion of the assessment process.
On completion of the assessment process, the form is handed to the school administration for filing in the student record.

This checklist is designed to assist the program administrator to check that the RPL process has been conducted in line with AQTF standards. When this checklist is completed and signed it should be placed in the student file along with the RMIT RPL record of assessment.

TAFE RCC Application form (PDF 75kb 2p)
Recognition of current competency (RCC) applies only if an applicant ‘has previously successfully completed the requirements for a unit of competency or module and is now required to be reassessed to ensure that competence is being maintained. In this case no extra skill or compentencies are nationally recognised’. (NCVER AVETMISS Data Elements definitions 2006.)

TAFE RPL and RCC – business process documents

The business process documents are used by program administrative staff to check that all required RPL and RCC processes have been completed.

Active applicant (PDF 60kb 7p)
This process specifically focuses on those students that are currently enrolled at RMIT in the program in which they wish to obtain recognition/exemptions. The student submits the completed TAFE Recognition of Prior Learning/Recognition of Current Competency (RPL/RCC) form, together with the supporting documentation to their school.
