Forensics and investigations
When you need an expert on the case
With the increasing use of information and communication technology at RMIT University, it’s comforting to know we’re monitoring, maintaining records and keeping tabs on IT system access and usage.
It’s also good to know that if required, we have the expertise to investigate systems data, provide forensic analysis and create reports for a variety of situations – including security.
So if you’re a staff member and ever need to get to the bottom of things, our IT service experts can help.
Here’s what you get:
- analysis and investigation regarding breaches of IT security, data privacy and RMIT’s acceptable use of information and communications technology resources policy
- implementation of a remedial action plan (as required).
Please note – any surveillance requirement is outside the scope of this service.
