Congratulations to International Studies honours student Catherine Pelling who was awarded with Whitehorse Young Citizen of the Year during this year’s Australia Day celebrations.
Recognised for her dedication to increase understanding and finding solutions for the humanitarian impacts of climate change, it is no surprise that Catherine was a student delegate at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) in Qatar in November.
A worthy recipient, Catherine is a fine example of RMIT students making their mark in the world. We look forward to hearing what else the year has in store for her.
