Course Description

This unit applies to individual work and work with others in a telecommunications technology. This unit has been developed with reference to ICAITTW011B Work individually or as a team member to achieve organisational goals. Performance Criteria:

1.1 Recognise and report hazards in the work area to designated personnel according to workplace procedures.
1.2 Follow accurately workplace procedures and work instructions for controlling risks.
1.3 Follow whenever necessary and within scope of responsibilities and competencies, workplace procedures for dealing with accidents, fires and emergencies.
1.4 Complete accurately job safety analysis(JSA) sheets in accordance with work requirements, including hazard identification and risk assessment.
1.5 Use and maintain personal protective equipment(PPE) in accordance with work requirements
