Learning Outcomes
The leaner will have demonstrated competancy by demonstrating the essential knowledge required to effectively do the task outlined in elements and performance criteria of this unit, manage the task and manage contingencies in the context of the identified work role which will enhance their employability skills
Overview of Assessment
The assessment will take place within a simulated environment and must satisfy the expected requirements for the practical and combined with placement in an Aged Care facility the leaner will be under the supervision of trained staff members who will need to sign off on a check list provided by the trainer.It will allow the leaner to consolidate the theory into practical. This will allow the student to gather experince and upload their confidence. They will also participate in role plays within the class room and hand in written case studies and questionnaires. All of the above within the content of this unit.
