Learning Outcomes

This course provides the learners the opportunity to gain relevant Building Industry’s practical experience in some of the following areas:

• Construction and Structures – including: erecting residential scale buildings and monitoring work standard.
• Estimating and Costing – including: scheduling, preparing and monitoring cost.
• Management - including: complying with regulatory requirements for company management practice and procedure
• Supervision - including: the scope of the builders’ responsibility and liability.
• Plan Reading and Drafting – including: reading plans and specifications.
• Services- including: dealing with statutory authorities in relation to proposed building works
