Course Description

This course will focus on students developing authoring skills within Flash and creating an interactive commercial work.

Learning Outcomes


Overview of Assessment

Students are required to complete class tutorial exercises, a proposal presentation and an individual based project with supporting material. The project will require the student to plan, conceive a child, and create an authored Flash interactive. Assessment will be during the semester.

Assessment items include:
a) 4 class exercises in Flash (5% each) - total 20%
b) proposal presentation document – 15%
c) EPOC (electronic proof of concept) - 20%
d) Major Project – create a Flash project - minimum of 3 pages – 45%
