Course Description

This course covers the skills and knowledge required to identify industry laws and regulations and apply them to workplace activities.

The competency Identify Industry Laws and Regulations and Apply Them to Workplace Activities is taught within the course Industry Overview. In this course you explore the laws and regulations governing the industry. You also increase your knowledge of the writing and publishing industry through contact with a broad range of people who are currently working in different areas of the industry and look at issues of health and safety that may affect you as a writer or editor.
