Teaching Schedule
Develop, refine and communicate concept for own work is delivered and assessed within your Produce Writing specialisations. For example, you discuss the skills required to develop, refine and communicate a concept within the context of writing a novel, creating a desk-top publishing project, writing a feature article etc.

Overview of Assessment
Assessment includes the completion of a written exercise and demonstration of competency through assessment in your chosen writing specialisations.
Assessment Tasks
This unit is assessed through a preliminary exercise specific to this competency. This exercise will be e-mailed to you by the unit coordinator with directions on how to submit the assessment. The assessment is due in Semester 1.
The unit is also assessed within your writing specialisation assessment by your writing teachers. Successful completion of the assessment will demonstrate competency in developing, refining and communicating a concept within the context of that writing specialisation. To demonstrate competency in this course, you will need to complete all assessment to a satisfactory standard. You will receive feedback on all assessment.

Attendance
