Course Description

This unit provides learners with the skills and knowledge to become competent to perform mathematical calculations used in business: margin percentages, mark-up percentages, markdowns, sales/m, sales/m2, stock turnover, stock-sales ratios and averages. Breakeven analysis and an introduction to the merchandise plan will also be covered.
