Course Description

This course covers the skills and knowledge to identify fibres and fabrics commonly used in the construction of garments and accessories.

Overview of Assessment

The student will be given a range of assessment tasks  including folio work, powerpoint presentation, research and quizzes.


Assessment Tasks

Assessment Tasks: The student will be required to (1) organise a fabrications folio (2) give a PowerPoint presentation on fabric research and (3) demonstrate knowledge by performing two written assessments in class.
