Course Description

This unit describes the knowledge and skills required by workers to provide clients with the support required to plan, make, implement and sustain positive lifestyle options that will have a positive impact on their health and well being.

Overview of Assessment

A workplace assessment appointment will be undertaken to allow students to present and discuss workplace evidence: Based on the individual student’s knowledge, skills and experience: an individual learning plan will be negotiated and developed. Students may be offered a number of assessment tasks and learning strategies such as workshop attendance, case studies, research project work and workplace activities and support to meet their assessment needs for this course (unit of competency).
