Course Description

This course will give students practical lessons and experience in building effective relationships in a work place and/or industry by participating in group work.

1.3 Implement consultation processes to encourage employees to contribute to issues related to their work, and promptly relay feedback to the work team in regard to outcomes

Overview of Assessment

This course involves simulated workplace learning and deals with the skills and knowledge required to set up and maintain workplace relationships. During the course you will gain valuable professional industry experience by working on group projects.


Assessment Tasks

To demonstrate competency in this course you will need to complete the following assessment to a satisfactory standard.
You will receive feedback on all assessment and where indicated, you will receive a grade. Graded assessment tasks are equally weighted and will determine your final result for this course.

Assessments in this unit are as follows:

Assessment Task 1: Students will undertake 40 hours of practical placement in industry.

Assessment Task 2: Students will be be required to complete an written assignment on their knowledge of legislation and theory of Workplace Relations
