responses to knowledge and skill questions based on the candidate’s experience

discussion of the candidate’s experience and current practice

specific evidence-gathering tasks in the form of completed case studies

provision of evidence of qualifications

observation conducted in the workplace

professional conversation conducted face-to-face

Assessment Tasks

For this Unit you need to provide evidence of  how you establish effective work environment for learning, develop a work-based learning pathway, establish the learning-facilitation relationship, implement work-based learning pathway, maintain and develop the learning/facilitation relationship, close and evaluate the leraning/facilitation relationship and monitor and review the effectiveness of the work-based learning pathway in your practice in a VET context.

The assessor will discuss with you how your evidence can be assembled to show that you have met these requirements. You will be provided with a case study format to record your experience against the performance criteria. If you are seeking recognition for more than this single unit the case study will also integrate the requirements of this unit with a number of other units in the qualification.

You will also be provided with key knowledge questions to consider that will support your preparation for assessment in this unit.
The assessment timelines are negotiated between you and the assessor, however enrolments need to show an assessment result within RMIT reporting periods. Your assessor will provide you with details of this.
