Course Description

In this course you will develop the skills and knowledge required to use equipment and materials that creatively explore design processes and outcomes for 3 dimensional (3D) forms.

Details of Learning Activities

Your learning activities will take place in a studio, workshop or classroom using industry standard tools and resources. You will complete exercises and industry
style projects. You will also be required to undertake independent study.

• demonstration and application of OHS rules
• demonstration of a range of techniques

Assessment is on-going throughout the course. Assessment will incorporate a range of methods to assess performance and the application of knowledge and skills and will include practical tasks and practical projects.

Assessment tasks are:

Assessment Tasks

Assessment tasks in this course are either formative or summative. Formative tasks provide the basis for ongoing feedback and can be considered essential building blocks for the more substantial summative assessment tasks. Summative assessment tasks in this course are graded.

Feedback throughout the course may be written, verbal or a combination of both.

To demonstrate competency in this course you need to complete each one of the following pieces of assessment to a satisfactory standard.
The submitted projects will be assessed with written feedback as well as a quality indicator that relates to separate components of the project and the overall outcome.
