• Record business transactions in a general journal and transfer entries to the general ledger.
• Accurately record and maintain wages and employment records.
• Comply with the various taxes and insurances that affect the small building company/sole trader.
• Undertake basic financial administration tasks and duties.
• Prepare a Business Plan and its essential elements.
• Identify customer requirements
• Apply principles of business management to service customer needs.
• Prepare and implement a marketing plan.
