• Define a contract and its essential parts.
• Meet the requirements associated with an offer and acceptance.
• Assemble the documentation for a tender.
• Select an appropriate contract for building works.
• Define and explain the rights and liabilities of parties under contract.
• Define common building contract terms and procedures.
• Outline what circumstances bring about a breach of contract.
• Explain the factors effecting determination of a business contract.
• Engage sub-contractors.
