Course Description
This course covers the essential activities required to satisfy safe work practices within the furnishing industry. It incorporates and expands upon Work safe Australia Guidelines (NOHSC-A).

Overview of Assessment
Students will be continually assessed during workshop activities to assess their competence in using basic static machinery and hand tools and contributing to management of workplace OH&S. Underpinning knowledge of policies and procedures are assessed using workbook assessment.
