Course Description
In this course you will develop the skills and knowledge needed to author a multimedia product using industry standard authoring tools. You will learn to create a functional Flash interactive containing a mix of media content, as well as gaining a theoretical background into effective design and development practices.

Learning Outcomes
Overview of Assessment
Students are required to complete class tutorial exercises, a proposal presentation and an individual based project,with supporting material. The project will require the student to plan, conceive, and create an authored Flash interactive. Assessment will be during the semester.
Assessment items include:
b) Class proposal presentation and document – 20%
c) EPOC (electronic proof of concept) - 15%
d) Major Project – create a Flash project with a minimum of 4 pages – 45% <h3> </h3>
