Course Description

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to interpret special effects production schedules and specifications, and to create special effects for productions within the cultural industries. Special effects may be physically constructed or computer generated. Students will participate in discussion, analysis, research and demonstrations in preparation for carrying out specified special effects production tasks.
