Overview of Assessment

The student must demonstrate an understanding of all elements of a particular competency to achieve competency.   Assessment methods have been designed to measure achievement of each competency in a flexible manner over multiple assessments.
Assessment will incorporate a variety of methods. Students are advised that they are likely to be asked to personally demonstrate their assessment work to their teacher during class exercises to ensure that competency standards are being met. Regular feedback on work will be provided to learners during the course.
