Course Description

This course will include coverage of the broad areas of: computer hardware and electronic components of multimedia devices; the uses and scope of multimedia, including text & typography, graphics, sound, animation, video, and authoring programs; computer operating systems and compression software in relation to multimedia; and, the role of multimedia, particularly in relation to development of web pages.
Students will be expected to engage in a variety of online research and interactive activities.
This is an online course, apart from an introductory lecture in the first week of semester.
