Course Description

This course provides the competency required to maintain professional and ethical conduct when dealing with colleagues, clients, and employers. It is based on the Australian Computer Society’s Code of Ethics but does not in any way replace the ACS code of ethics.
This is an online course, apart from an introductory lecture in the first week of semester.

Overview of Assessment

Assessment involves maintenance of an Ethics Diary. This should include thoughts, reflections, comments, observations, of various ethical issues that may arise at work, at RMIT, etc.
Assessment may also include written exercises, participation in online discussion boards, etc.
This course is competency based only, and will not be graded.
