Overview of Assessment

The student will do an hourly cost rate estimate and several production cost estimates which will involve all aspects of production in the printing industry as well as questioning throughout the subject. The estimates will be calculated by the student working on their own. Assessment will be done collectively in class or individually.

Assessment Tasks

Calculate an hourly cost rate
Prepare several production cost estimates accurately according to industry standards.

Assessment Matrix

This course will be graded as ‘Competent’ (PX) or ‘Not yet competent’ (NYC)
