Course Description

This course covers the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to manage a straight forward project or a section of a larger project.
On successful completion of this competency, you will have gained employability in skills in preparing , planning, managing, completing , and reviewing a new media project that is based on the principles of good design and visual aesthetic. The outcomes can be seen as a folio of creative work to promote you as a Interactive Digital Media Designer.

Overview of Assessment

Assessment will incorporate a variety of methods including technical requirements documentation, homework and in class exercises, practical problem solving exercises and practical tasks. Students are advised that they are likely to be asked to personally demonstrate their assessment work to their teacher to ensure that the relevant competency standards are being met.

The major learning experience involves studio based exercises, demonstration and production. It is strongly advised that students attend all sessions in order to engage in the required learning activities, ensuring the maximum opportunity to gain the competency.

Firearms & Weapons
It is important to note that students are not allowed to shoot video with armory related objects for
exampl, guns, knives, spears, ectc for OH&S reasons students are not to perform dangerous stunts.
