Course Description

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to research and critically analyse historical and theoretical concepts for application to own artistic and esign practice. The unit includes the need for critical analysis of information and own work and the challenging of different points of view to inform own personal work and philosophy.

The application of this unit in the workplace sees an individual artist and designer researching and critically analysing history and theory at an advanced level and applying this research and analysis so as to continually inform and advance their personal work and practice.
