Course Description

This course develops the skills and knowledge required to produce and present a thematically connected digital art work which incorporates other media. You would use a wide range of tools, equipment and materials and may possibly incorporate other media. The artwork would convey a strong conceptual and theoretical development and a developing sense of your own voice.

Overview of Assessment

Your ability to realise thematically connected digital artworks will be assessed by:

  • Review of visual journal by teacher/assessor against specified criteria
  • Review of digital folder
  • Review of folio of digital images by a group of teachers/assessors
  • Review of presentations
  • Observation (with questions and answers)
  • Direct observation of digital media work in progress,
    including exploration of and experimentation with techniques
  • Completion of an art journal and/or portfolio including
    personal reflection and feedback from relevant others.
