Course Description

 This year-long course covers the skill required to complete a major project. This will include: the analysis of the projects requirements; the planning of the project using the appropriate industry standard protocols; and conducting briefings of the project at stages of its completion.

Overview of Assessment

Assessment takes the form of several practice-based assignment related to the development stages required in the completion of a major project. Assessment will also take the form of a series of briefings conducted by the student throughout the year.
Assignment 01
Analyse and develop concepts for a major project.
Value: 5%

Assignment 02
Evaluate and develop a concept for a major project through the creation of written and visual representations.
Value: 5%
Assignment 03
Conduct a briefing on a major project concept that includes written and visual representations. Establish the resources and skills required to enable the completion of the major project.
Value: 10%

Assignment 04
Establish the industry standard requirements in the presentation of a major project. Create a major project proposal document in accordance with those standards.
Value: 20%

Assignment 05
Conduct four briefings throughout the production stage of the major project.
Value: 15%

Assignment 06
Complete a  major project.
Value: 45%
